Unfortunately today’s blog is going to have to be a bit short. It is getting late here and tomorrow we have a long day, but I wanted to let everyone know about the day quickly. It was mainly a day devoted to school. This morning we had class and learned a lot about the government system and how it is run here in Europe. It was interesting but probably not anything I really needed to know! Then we had to run our simulation. We realized we made some major mistakes in our last quarter so we fell in the rankings. We think that we figured it out and have it all set to get back into the top of the rankings. Then we had a break where our group wrote our case paper about a golf course. Real exciting I know.
Tonight we did dinner as a group. It was just put together by one of my fellow student’s last minute and there was almost everyone there. We had dinner and Phil ended up paying for it all! Don’t think that this is out of his pocket, he has a budget he can spend thru our tuition, but it was still nice not having to spend my cash! So, Thanks Grandpa for dinner! J Then we headed over to the play, Jersey Boys. It was a good play! I wouldn’t say it was my favorite by any means of the imagination, but I did enjoy it. I didn’t really know what it was going to be about and the story line really wasn’t something that peaked my interest. I would have to put Mama Mia, Lion King and Wicked way before it. Although some of my classmates really enjoyed it more than other plays they have seen. To each their own I guess! After the play we finished some changes on our paper and now I’m calling it a night. Just about midnight my time, have to be to school by 9:30 tomorrow and then head to Canterbury tomorrow afternoon for an evening there. Phil is buying that meal and first round of drinks at one of the oldest pubs in England, so it should be a good night! Once again thanks gpa for the supper and drink! :P We aren’t due back until 1-2 am so I don’t know that I’ll get a post in tomorrow, but look forward to sharing the details about Canterbury!
